Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is one of the most widely performed cosmetic surgeries in America. Dr. Shumway performs four types of breast augmentation procedures, but most of his patients choose the TUBA procedure to reduce the surgical time and recovery. Many women undergo this surgery when pregnancy, age or significant weight loss have caused their breasts to sag and lose their youthful fullness. When you come in for your consultation, it’s recommended to have a good idea of your preferred cup size. Dr. Shumway will determine whether you’re an ideal candidate for breast augmentation.

Tummy Tuck

A variety of things can leave your tummy in less than ideal shape. Things such as childbirth, fat loss and age can all take their toll. Fortunately, tummy tucks offer an effective solution for people who want a flatter, tighter abdomen. There are even more targeted procedures designed specifically to remove pockets of excess fat that stubbornly stick around after diet and exercise, such as “love handles” around the hips. The ideal candidate should be in good health, have realistic expectations for their results and not be planning to become pregnant or lose weight in the near future. If you think you’d be a good candidate, contact Dr. Shumway to get started.

Age, exposure to sunlight and air pollution, certain lifestyle habits and long-term use of harsh skin care products can cause facial skin to lose its volume and firmness, become saggy and weathered-looking. While healthy lifestyle habits can go a long way toward slowing facial aging, it won’t do much to reverse the damage once it has occurred. For this reason, many people choose to receive a facelift to improve fine lines and wrinkles, address sagging and make their skin appear younger and more vibrant.

It happens to a lot of people. They’re happy with their eyes, lips, chin and cheek bones, but they just wish they could do something about their nose. Also, some people may experience injuries or birth defects that not only distort the appearance of their nose but also cause breathing problems because of the damage. In either case, these patients can benefit greatly from rhinoplasty, a cosmetic surgery procedure meant to reshape the nose. In patients with breathing problems due to deformities of the nose, rhinoplasty can help correct the structural damage and restore proper nasal function. For patients who are simply displeased with the way their nose looks, rhinoplasty can help them achieve the nose that best complements their other facial features. Candidates should be in good overall physical and emotional health and have reasonable expectations.

If you’re ready to get started on the path to a new, improved you, contact Shumway Cosmetic Surgery today. Dr. Shumway and his experienced team will use their expertise and the latest cosmetic surgery methods to provide you with results you’ll love.
